There seems to be a trend among women where they are becoming more aware of and increasingly concerned with the appearance of their nether-regions.
What used to be something that was primarily reserved for men to worry about, that being the appearance, size, angle and “feel” of their genitals; this concern is now becoming more commonplace among women.
The reason for this seems unsure…but increasing personal vanity and sexual promiscuity come to mind.
I would assume that in the “old days” when couples waited for marriage before having sex, there would be little or no chance for comparisons. What a man’s penis or a woman’s labia looked like would be of little issue to the other. What they saw or felt on their wedding night would be it.
Today with increasing sexual freedom there is far greater chance for comparisons…and naturally comparisons are made. I feel that the sexual freedom of women, the fact that they typically have multiple partners before marriage has in itself increased male’s concerns about their penis size, shape etc. If there was no chance of comparison…there would be little chance of being of coming in second…or third.
I think that the whole penis size debate has gone on for so long that it has become laughable. It has become so mainstream in conversation that it has lost its shock value. I might also assume that a woman that really enjoyed belittling men about penis size might eventually get a little paranoid about her own goods. Maybe she would become increasingly worried that men were thinking about her…in the same way that she was thinking about them.
Although I have had a lover make a very specific and direct comparison between my penis and a former lover’s…I really cannot imagine a man making comments like that to a woman….at least while he was sleeping with her.
I have seen my fair share of female genitalia, in magazines, in movies, on stage and to a lesser degree up close and very personal. I have had girlfriends that had inner lips that resembled a monarch butterfly with its wings spread and others with lips that were almost non-existent. If I was asked to judge labia against a standard…I could…quite willingly I might add! In reality though I have never had a distinct like or dislike for any labia.
In my opinion, women that are undergoing plastic surgery to change the outwards appearance of their genitals are wasting their money (or his) and have some obscure sense of where their value as a person lies. I am a guy that would actually NOT date a woman with fake boobs just to give you an idea of where I stand.
