I will often think about my own thinking. When people describe my personality, they frequently use words like “insightful” and “self-aware.” I believe this is due to my reflective nature, which I see as an asset when it comes to decision-making.
Highly sensitive people can easily reflect on how something went wrong, which helps prevent us from making a similar mistake in the future. We also take the time to think through how things will play out and can often predict or prevent future problems.
However, no matter how good these qualities may be, they have one significant drawback. At times, I have a really hard time when it comes to taking real actions to change my life and the world around me. A dreamer with a theoretical mind prefers to live in our own head, immersed in our thoughts and visions.
For this reason, turning ideas into a reality and putting plans into practice can be challenging for me. This indecisiveness and a lack of action often costs me success and accomplishment.
It is not a major problem, however, as I am not interested in becoming a success story. At the same time, when I realize that your life needs a change or I could make a real difference in the world, but I fail to act on it, this brings me deep disappointment with myself.
